Our Impact in Numbers
Our Journey
From Classroom Excellence to Digital Learning
Rooted in the vision of educational transformation, our journey began as Disha Academy in Wai, Satara in 2002 and evolved into My Exam Coach (MEC) in 2025 — a fully digital, bilingual learning platform for scholarship and competitive exam preparation.
2002 – Foundation Year
Established Disha Academy in Wai, Satara to provide quality coaching for school and board-level students.
2005–2010 – Recognition through Results
Gained regional reputation with consistent top-ranking student results across board and school scholarship exams.
2010–2012 – Entry into Competitive Streams
Began coaching for Class XI-XII and entrance exams: NEET, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, MHT-CET.
2012 – First IIT Selection
A proud milestone: Our first student secures admission into IIT, validating our focused teaching model.
2013–2016 – Expansion to Class V–X
Strengthened foundations by launching batches for Class VIII–X, including test series and Olympiad preparation.
2017–2018 – Infrastructure Growth
Established Disha campuses in Baramati and Satara, expanding reach across Western Maharashtra.
2019 – Digital Leap with Hybrid Model
Integrated online learning with physical teaching through live-streamed sessions and recorded lectures.
2025 – Launch of My Exam Coach (MEC)
MEC goes live as a bilingual edtech platform offering:

Prof. Dr. Nitin Kadam
Co-Founder & Educational Director
(M.Sc (Mycology), M.A. (Psychology), B.Ed, D.Litt.)
A pioneer in education and social development, Dr. Kadam is the founder of several institutions including Disha Public School, Disha Play School, and Disha Paramedical Institute. His focus has always been on structured academic support and career guidance using scientific methods like DMIT testing.
